Emergency Call Out - Burnt Wall Socket

Challenge

Client called in on an emergency to smell of burning and a blown wall socket.

Solution

Attended within hour and made safe. inspected  thermal damage cable ends and replaced with new British Standard double gang socket outlet. Cause of damage on neutral core so probable overloading determined. Advised client of potential when plugging in heavy loads instant load equipment.
